About this blog…

My name is Sean D. Stuber.

I am an Oracle Developer/DBA, specializing in design and tuning of applications written in PL/SQL and SQL.  While my main job is actually doing the administration and development, my real passion is teaching others how to get the most from their database.  To this end I spend a great deal of time help coworkers improve their queries, writing articles, volunteering on the technology Q&A sites, and presenting at conferences such at Collaborate and KScope.

I have OCA, OCE, and OCP certifications and was named an Oracle ACE in late 2017.

In this blog I plan to post pointers to articles as well as post original, smaller content that I think might be helpful but is either too small and focused to warrant an entire article or is only a partial thought, not ready for more complete text and time investment.

My degree is in Pure Mathematics so from time to time I like to post math-based functions or examples that illustrate interesting math features.

Questions and comments are always welcome, especially if you can find some way to improve upon anything I post.
